Dr. Samir Gupta
Founder of Pittsburgh Dental Wellness & Implants, Dr. Samir Gupta is deeply rooted in the Pittsburgh community. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Dr. Gupta graduated from Fox Chapel High School and has since dedicated his career to serving the local population. He is known for his down-to-earth approach, taking the time to educate his patients and build long-lasting relationships based on trust and respect. Dr. Gupta has extensive training in various areas of dentistry, including TMJ disorders, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and obstructive sleep apnea. His commitment to continuing education ensures that he remains at the forefront of the latest advancements in dental care, allowing him to provide exceptional treatment to his patients. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Gupta enjoys fitness, hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and two sons.
Dr. Som Gupta
With more than four decades of clinical experience, Dr. Som Gupta brings deep expertise in orthodontics, orthopedics, and airway-focused care to PGH Dental Wellness. He began his career internationally before completing his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania. After decades in private practice, Dr. Gupta now focuses on helping children and adults through non-invasive solutions for craniofacial imbalance and obstructive sleep apnea. Known for his diagnostic precision and patient-centered approach, Dr. Gupta blends time-tested techniques with the latest advancements in airway-centric dentistry. Outside the office, he enjoys teaching, lifelong learning, and spending time with his family — including his two sons, both dentists.

Dr. Gordon Ott
A respected figure in the Pittsburgh dental community, Dr. Gordon Ott has been recognized as one of the city’s top dentists by Top Dentists Inc., as featured in Pittsburgh Magazine. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Ott has practiced alongside his father, Dr. William Ott, since 1992. He is dedicated to ongoing education, taking over 30 hours of Continuing Dental Education courses annually to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry. Dr. Ott has participated in dental missions in China, Kazakhstan, and Guatemala, bringing his expertise to underserved communities around the world. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Dr. Ott enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and their three daughters.
